- Download Universal Master Code
- It’s free software.
- Open the software
- Select modem manufacturer and model of your JioFi
- Now enter the IMEI number of your JioFi
- Click on Calculate
- It will take few seconds to calculate the unlock code and Flash code.
- Now insert any other network sim and use that unlocking code to unlock.
That’s it. Now you can use any sim with your JioFi. If you still fail to unlock your device. You can ask us in the comment section we will help you
NOTE..... If you have generated the unlock code and inserted another All company sim. But your JioFi software is not showing you the unlock code option. Where you have to write the unlock code. That is because your JioFi came with locked firmware
Just upgrade your JioFi firmware. Don’t think Jio will give you the firmware to unlock their JioFi and allow you to insert another company sim in their dongle. So you have to do this task manually
How to upgrade JioFi Firmware
Step 1: Power on Jiofi and connect PC or mobile to JiofiWiFi network
Step 2: Login to Admin panel: http://jiofi.local.html/index.htm
Step 3: Now select ‘Setting’ tab then ‘firmware Upgrade’ menu
Step 4: Check installed firmware version under ‘Device Software Version’
Step 5: Select ‘Browse’ option under ‘Software Upgrade > Select location where jiofi firmware is available & select it...................
